Tch...

Goret...you....idiot. *picks up Rath and smacks Goret upside the head with Rath*

Now that out of the way. Were...direwolf? Ummmm, I *highly* recommend less on the gawking and an extra helping of *Running*!

No! It's vision's based on movement! That's a thing (rather than just a dramatic device to make for a more exciting action scene). Too late, he's already waving a flare :(

Strypewolf (Guest), 27 Sep 2014 07:53 pm

Well also factoring poor Perrik (Perrick?) is shaking like a leaf in a windstorm counts as moving. Not to mention smelling of pure fear.

Also I agree with Moroz. That shield is overpowered.

peteranckorn, 27 Sep 2014 07:55 pm

lol-yeah, it is a bit much. It's Freya's best item though. Her sword is nice but her shield is very powerful. Steam knights have good gear-what can I say ;)

Strypewolf (Guest), 27 Sep 2014 08:38 pm

Do you think you could do a voting incentive on the metal wolf there? I'm a bit curious just what kind of construct it is.

Going out on a limb on saying it's some kind of heavily modified Iron Golem.

peteranckorn, 27 Sep 2014 09:00 pm

Sort of. It's a construct made of a super hard alien alloy (void forged steel) and powered be the soul of a massively powerful fallen warrior of the mountain gnoll clan. I don't have the exact stats in mind but it's rather powerful. Don't want to give too much away at this stage...;)

Strypewolf (Guest), 28 Sep 2014 12:26 am

You keep mentioning void forged. Any chance to elaborate? How does this process work.

Curious mind is curious! *picks at Peter's brain for knowledge*

Okay, that shield is made of hax. Why does the squire have it?

Sakarin (Guest), 28 Sep 2014 09:16 am

This is getting a bit intense. Heck, for a sec, I thought that one of the...err...Ship Rocks on panel four grew anime hair just to show how serious this might get.

Guesticus (Guest), 28 Sep 2014 02:12 pm

Big puppy indeed, looks more like an overgrown pussy slash lion

Love Gor in the latest invotive (speaking of Gor, why is he the one with both ears pierced and not Mor? o_O)

peteranckorn, 28 Sep 2014 06:49 pm

Void forged is a metal of alien origin created by denizens of the void-the place where the ship 'Galthiern' and Varnack the Betrayer have been for the last 200 years. It's super strong-like some of the best ore you can get (you need at least a diamond pick to mine that stuff).

Because that squire is a STEAM KNIGHT!!!!(said in voice of henchman #24)

That's a lump of dirt that got blasted up by the final violent stage of Yarosts transformation. I thought it was a tuft of grass but now I'm not so sure. Maybe that dirt clod's trying to muscle it's way into the big time with its fancy hair and dramatic performance. Hmm-I shall keep a close eye on it in the future...

Gor's earrings have a special function. Also he's incredibly flamboyant(not Ginyu force level flamboyant but he's getting there. He needs to do more cool poses really).

Steam knight, good family (maybe), and named after a goddess, why wouldn't she have OP-ed equip?

peteranckorn, 29 Sep 2014 08:31 am

Aye-some characters get all the luck ;) Freya built her own armour (which is also very good but not complete at the moment-so is far less effective than normal) and was given the shield by Venom-one of the many items accrued during a long career of questing. Venom prefers the attack-wearing medium steam armour for a good balance of speed and protection and wielding two handed weapons for the most part-the bigger the better.
Freya wears light steam armour (super light right now) as she is working on a suit that can fly for limited periods. Venom decided the shield would be a good fit for her, given her fighting style and the fact that it's so light (not to mention styled as a wing-theme counts ;)).
