Why does just looking at the paladin with that laughter make me want to back away slowly while throwing lightsabers at his chest?

peteranckorn, 06 Jul 2011 02:20 pm

He elicits that response in most people ;)

Supernaturalists, 06 Jul 2011 03:20 pm

his helmet....xD

RedJac, 06 Jul 2011 04:48 pm

He's not going anywhere...

scribe_drizz, 07 Jul 2011 06:05 am

Mustachioed Helmet! +5 against Beards.

Grimlock13 (Guest), 07 Jul 2011 04:45 pm

Juggernaut with a mustache...
And his enemies die of laughter.

Andromeda Lazuli, 07 Jul 2011 05:04 pm

@ Grimlock13: I'm already dying of laughter! XD

peteranckorn, 08 Jul 2011 08:10 am

I'm sure Sir Valk thinks he looks very dignified ;)The stylised helmet is a form of heraldry used by the steam knights to identify one another on the fiald of battle. I'll hopefully be introducing more steam knights later on. . .

Grimlock13 (Guest), 08 Jul 2011 09:11 pm

@peteranckorn
And hilarity will follow their every steps.

Smaug (Guest), 01 Apr 2012 01:00 pm

Like a gentleman

Hornet (Guest), 11 Apr 2012 02:34 pm

hey it's a Battletech Atlas.
At least the Girls got better armor.

Reyceid (Guest), 16 Apr 2012 09:05 pm

Helmet! Ladies and gentlemen...THE KNIGHT OF PRINGLES.

Thornbrier (Guest), 20 Apr 2012 04:23 am

I'm laughing more at the size of his weapons compared to his frame. It looks like he would do more damage with a shoulder ram than with his dinky little mace and hammer.

phalanges1972, 23 Apr 2012 11:42 pm

And the Knight says "Here lets sneak in as bees" And the stupid paladin says "Rgghhhh crush them all!"

jerryquest (Guest), 27 May 2012 06:58 pm

Behold! the power of a fully armed and operational death st--... oh. never mind.

peteranckorn, 28 May 2012 04:49 am

Send the rest of the adventuring part to the far side of the sanctuary moon...

brak (Guest), 14 Jan 2013 12:31 am

i swear this guy keeps making me think of space marines from warhammer 40k

peteranckorn, 14 Jan 2013 04:03 am

That may have been an influence ;) Although, when you put a knight in powered armour it's kind of tricky for them to not be at least a bit space mariney (is that a word?).

Guest, 13 Sep 2013 02:50 pm

@peteranckorn It is now.

peteranckorn, 13 Sep 2013 03:09 pm

Darn-so I DID win that scrabble game!

Aurik Marr (Guest), 04 Mar 2014 09:13 am

Marine He looks like a Marine from Starcraft.

peteranckorn, 04 Mar 2014 09:24 am

Which drew from 40k, which drew from Nemesis the Warlock (early 80s 2000AD comic)which drew from history ;) Medieval space marine was a starting point for the concept of steam knights though. Fantasy power armour :)

MarkTheHedgehog, 17 Nov 2014 11:40 pm

Guys. Sir Valk is a Space Marine.
He's not a Marine and he's not in space... But trust me, he's a Space Marine

peteranckorn, 18 Nov 2014 08:03 am

Not quite-he hasn't killed all the xeno scum yet (although I'm sure he would have liked to ;)).

Merdoc (Guest), 19 Nov 2014 03:53 pm

rereading the comic. I still think his weapons should be larger^^
They're so tiny in comparison to him hehe.

peteranckorn, 19 Nov 2014 04:04 pm

That's true! He just has normal weapons too(not magic or even master worked). He needs an upgrade! I need to re-read some time-make sure there aren't any important threads or the like that I've forgotten about. Good to take stock of where things are at every now and then :)
