Vote! BTB's taken a beating in the charts so far-but not to worry. I've been developing a new generation of incentives. Origionally designed to combat martian invaders, I now deploy it to get back into the top 10, thus stopping all those other comics cracking wise about Kazu's mother and labelling Zeen a 'Jive sucker of the most lamentable ilk'.

The new incentive is an interactive one. The more votes the comic gets and the higher it goes in the charts, the more successful the slime will be in feasting on Kazu's armour! Diabolically underhanded I'm sure you'll agree-but I think Rath would approve (wait-maybe that's a bad thing?).
Anyway-the incentive will change between now and next update-depending on vote levels that is-so keep on voting every day ;)

I'm assuming Yeshka just built a masterpiece of a house. XD

shadow7127, 02 Nov 2012 08:53 pm

must. not. spoil.

Ricbold (Guest), 02 Nov 2012 09:30 pm

You'll just have to see for yourself, FireBorg. :P

Guest, 03 Nov 2012 12:11 am

Maaaan...this is going to get interesting. And to think we'll be siding with the slime on this one!

baloneyjustice (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 12:51 am

Haha.. I love this new Voting Incentive.. I even voted three times so far! :-)

peteranckorn, 03 Nov 2012 05:50 am

(Mr Burnes voice) Excellent.

DJ (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 10:27 am

I would've voted for the comic anyway, but this makes it even easier! :)

peteranckorn, 03 Nov 2012 10:54 am

Thanks :) We've moved up the charts a bit-I think the slime may be getting stronger...

Ruzarhy (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 12:34 pm

-votes as often as possible and as fast as possible- :D best incentive ever, but whatever will happen to poor clothesless Kazu I wonder!?

Ricbold (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 01:06 pm

@Ruzarhy: I think I've seen enough hentai to know what happens then...

Neko Hime (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 02:31 pm

i like the new incentive however i kinda wish the slime had a more of body appearance like a slime girl then just a normal slime.
My Japanese tendencies with that stuff and i am glad it is not a tentacle monster anything with tentacles is evil but is delicious to eat.
i can't imagine what Bork normally sleeps in but i can imagine him having a small pet that is a elemental but is one made up of filth and dirty things.

peteranckorn, 03 Nov 2012 05:55 pm

Incentive has been updated! Keep up the good work :)

R Reyes (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 07:13 pm

man i rather sleep on a bed with nails on it then there

Ruzarhy (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 09:02 pm

More votes! Mooore votes!

Kreldor (Guest), 03 Nov 2012 09:07 pm

Then Kazu takes a barbarian lvl and things get messy. :P

Guest, 04 Nov 2012 01:22 pm

The Cloth Eating Slime is...UNSTOPPABLE!

peteranckorn, 04 Nov 2012 06:21 pm

The slime has munched more clothing ;)

Guest, 04 Nov 2012 08:57 pm

I wonder how the boots and gloves managed to survive for so long...

Guest (Guest), 04 Nov 2012 10:20 pm

I would die laughing if one of the goblins got squished by a large slime.

DJ (Guest), 04 Nov 2012 10:29 pm

@Guest I'm a little more curious about whether or not any other characters will be attacked by this slime...?

baloneyjustice (Guest), 04 Nov 2012 10:51 pm

Wow.. this has been progressing quickly to full frontal nudity.

Ruzarhy (Guest), 04 Nov 2012 11:07 pm

More votes! Moooore! We need to find more slimes to attack more of the girls!

Guesticus (Guest), 05 Nov 2012 11:37 am

Will all versions end up in the Gallery when this finished? For those who may have missed any/all

Oh, and when you re-uploaded this page, you forgot (again) Number Three's #3 in the third panel :)

peteranckorn, 05 Nov 2012 12:23 pm

Ah, well...erm..they're in Minecraft land and it's on a low distance setting, so his #3 popped out of view in panel 3 cause the viewer was slightly too far away. Yeah that should cover it. Actually I often make mistakes (or omit certain datails because they're not important in some panels or they get in the way of composition). My worst continuity crime is weapons-either held or worn. They quite often vanish until needed(I guess Yeshka puts her gun down somewhere safe most the time-must be heavy...).

Ah well. To quote Peter Jackson 'continuity is for pussies' ;)

Guest, 05 Nov 2012 02:30 pm

Ho! Is this the end of the Kazu vs. the Cloth-Eating Slime chronicles I see? Or will there be one final version with everything all gone?

peteranckorn, 05 Nov 2012 02:31 pm

New version of the Kazu vs Slime pic up. We're clinging on to #5 at the moment-great stuff concidering we were in at #14 a few days ago.We almost got #4 but Girrl Power must have had a new page I think as they rocketed ahead by about 500 votes all of a sudden(I guess saying 'I have you now' in a Darth Vader voice was a bit premature ;)). I'll put all the old images up at my site, along with a nsfw final version of the image (as long as the slimes' hunger for glothing is kept keen by plenty of votes!)

Neko Hime (Guest), 05 Nov 2012 03:32 pm

Grrl power yeah i read that one along with this one and several others but i would have to say out of all the webcomics i read this one has the 2nd most interesting incentives.

About the weapons there are plenty of places to hide weapons on someone plus these are fictional characters so you could go even with hiding ridiculous size and number of objects between bewbs or even hair if one of the characters ever had a afro even a wig afro for storage or the more generic magical bottomless bag or all the weapons are made with special metal that turns invisible. plus most of us never complain about the mistakes unless we have a grammar police.

Ruzarhy (Guest), 05 Nov 2012 03:54 pm

Bwahahaha, who knew raising a slime to eat clothing would work out so well? ... Rath did.

ultralilac, 05 Nov 2012 04:29 pm

I love the Minecraft panels :-)
I just figured out who Volkswagen reminds me of- Melchert!

peteranckorn, 05 Nov 2012 04:39 pm

Maaaah! Don't slouch , Darling!. Hmm-perhaps a slightly younger Melch-he does speak like Melchett, now I think about it :)

ABC (Guest), 05 Nov 2012 06:44 pm

Hammerspace needs no explaination!

DJ (Guest), 06 Nov 2012 11:55 am

...still wondering if this won't happen to other characters...

Guest, 06 Nov 2012 08:15 pm

respect man it must take a pair not to cave in and not become on of those porn mags oh i might have spoke to soon

Guest, 06 Nov 2012 08:17 pm

Grr i love this show

DJ (Guest), 06 Nov 2012 08:33 pm

Guest, 06 Nov 2012 11:22 pm

good question

Guest, 06 Nov 2012 11:24 pm

so peterkorn what is your comics religion.

peteranckorn, 10 Nov 2012 04:02 am

You mean the religion of the characters? Alice has mentioned Athena, so I guess they're into polytheism-as with most D&D settings. I have given a fair bit of thought into exactly how 'hands on' the gods are in this setting-whether they manifest in person or it's all taken on faith, as the gods will become quite important later on in the story.
Rath and the other dungeon dwellers seem to be fairly irreligious. I imagine Rath only prays when he really needs to. The setting as a whole is a little influenced by the period known as 'the enlightenment'in our own world-so gods and faith are being supplanted by scientific method (in this setting arcane magic would be included in with the sciences) , although I guess the true divinity of a god is harder to dispute if his or her servants are running around healing people-so things will probably be a little different in this world than in our own ;)
